Certified Vocational Training for Veterans
McLane Technology Partners (MTP) offers a variety of vocational training to support veterans prepare themselves for their next career. This training ranges from Public Speaking to Information Technology training.
1: Global Combat Support System (GCSS) – G-Army Maintenance
Equipment Records Parts Specialist (ERPS)
This course provides a training experience on GCSS-Army system from an Operator’s perspective. The course will provide the skills to assist operators in managing the unit’s maintenance operations and equipment readiness through the use GCSS-Army functionality.
Maintenance Manager
This course provides a training experience on GCSS-Army system from a Maintenance Manager’s perspective. The course will provide the skills to assist operators in managing the unit’s maintenance operations. Students will learn man-hour costing and how to ensure all cost are captured for all services provided by a maintenance operation. Proper accountability of all maintenance personnel to ensure staffing level is maintained. Managers will learn to access all reports to provide accurate equipment readiness.
Master Driver Course
This course provides Master Drivers with the skills to perform their job at the highest level. The course will provide the skills to assist leaders in managing their operator’s records in the G-Army system.
Commanders Course
This course provides commanders with knowledge of GCSS-Army system to help them manage organization equipment readiness. The course will provide the skills to assist commanders in managing maintenance operations.
2: Global Combat Support System (GCSS) – G-Army Supply
Commanders Course
The purpose of this course is to provide commanders with knowledge of GCSS-Army system to help manage organization property. The course will provide the skills to assist commanders in managing supply operations.
Property Book
The purpose of this course is to provide supply personnel with knowledge of GCSS-Army system to help manage organization property. The course will provide the skills to assist property book personnel in managing supply operations.
S4 Course
The purpose of this course is to provide S4 personnel with knowledge of GCSS-Army system to help them manage BNs and above property. The course will provide the skills to assist S4 personnel in managing supply operations.
Unit Supply
The purpose of this course is to provide supply personnel with knowledge of GCSS-Army system to help them manage organization supply. The course will provide the skills to assist supply personnel in managing supply operations.
3: Global Combat Support System (GCSS) – G-Army Warehouse (SSA) Training
G-Army Warehouse (SSA) Training
The purpose of this course is to provide training on understanding GCSS-Army Warehouse system to help manage receiving, shipping, and storage operations, issue, and accountability of supplies throughout the supply chain.
4: Standard Army Maintenance System Enhanced (SAMS-E)
Data Cleansing Support
MTP has developed an automated process to support units preparing to convert from SAMS-E to GCSS-Army. MTP will clean data to match unit’s property book for a quick and smooth data validation process.
Training
MTP provides quality SAMS-E Operator, Manager, and System Administrator training. This training can be conducted at customer’s site or at our site.
5: Standard Army Ammunition System Modernization (SAAS MOD)
Training
This course is designed to help managers and operators at the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP). This course teaches students with the ability to operate, demonstrate, and apply the functions and capabilities of SAAS MOD to support munitions operations. Students will learn how to store, receive, issue, and ship munition; as well as manage stock levels.
6: Combat Service Support Automated Information System Interface (CAISI)
Training
7: Combat Service Support Very Small Aperture Terminal (CSS VSAT)
Training
This course teaches students how to setup and deploy system for operations. The course will also train students on how to troubleshoot and mitigate problems with the system.
8: Night Vision Goggles (NVG)
Training
This training covers AN/PVS-5 and newer. Students will learn how to inspect, use, troubleshoot, and maintain the goggles; as well as how to best use the product to maximize its capabilities.
9: Professional Human Resource (PRH)
PHR Exam Prep Training
This training will prepare student for the PHR exam by focusing on the 6 Functional areas (Business Management and Strategy, Workforce Planning and Employment, Human Resource Development, Compensation and Benefits, Employee and Labor Relations, and Risk Management.
10: Project Management Professional (PMP)
PMP Exam Prep Training
This course presents the specific concepts, techniques and tools for managing projects effectively. The role of the project manager is examined, together with important techniques for controlling cost, schedules, and performance parameters. This course is instructor lead on how projects are combined to develop skills needed by project managers in today’s environment.
11: Oracle Workforce Development Partnership
Oracle Training
MTP is an Oracle University Workforce Development Partner and provides onsite training such as, Database Application Development, Oracle Database 12c for Oracle 11 System Administrators, Oracle Database 11g, and Java SE 8 Programming Fundamentals & Application Development.
12: Cyber Security
Training
This course covers three areas of cyber security including: Fundamentals of Cyber Security, The Importance of Governance and Technical Requirements, and hands on experience in a cyber lab.
13: Customized Training Solutions

McLane Technology Partners understands the need for some organizations to request customized training based on an organization’s unique setup. Therefore, MTP is prepared to offer tailored training based on an organization’s job tasks.
